The Ice Edge Skating Club offers SkateCanada sanctioned skating programs instructed by professional certified coaches and trained program assistants.

Our programs include:

PreCanSkate: learn to skate program for ages 3 and up.

CanSkate: learn to skate program for ages 6 and up.

CanPowerSkate/ Hockey Skating Skills: power skating program geared towards hockey and ringette players; full hockey gear and a stick is required.

STARSkate: figure skating program for those skaters that have completed CanSkate level 5 and want to continue to develop their skating skills.

Adult Learn to Skate: for those aged 16+ with little or no skating experience. Adults that have some skating experience are welcome to join our STARSkate classes with approval from our head coach.

Special Needs Learn to Skate: an inclusive skating program adapted to skaters with physical and/or developmental needs, who have little or no skating experience. 

 A current Chestermere Regional Community Association membership is required for all members. Please CLICK HERE to be directed to the CRCA's website where a membership can be purchased. Once you have a current membership number please update your Ice Edge Profile to include the CRCA membership  number. Registrations without a CRCA membership will be cancelled within 2 weeks of registering.
