REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2025 LEARN-TO-SKATE PROGRAMS NOW OPEN!

Summer may still be sizzling, but it’s never too early to get ready for the fall skating season! Whether your child is just stepping onto the ice or refining their moves for hockey or ringette, our expert-led classes offer the perfect mix of fun and skill-building.

PreCanSkate (ages 3-5)

Sundays 3:15 PM - 3:45 PM (Sep 28 - Dec 14, 2025)

Sundays 3:45 PM - 4:15 PM (Sep 28 - Dec 14, 2025)

Thursdays 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM (Oct 2 - Dec 14)

CanSkate (ages 5+)

Please note:

All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada prior to taking to the ice. The annual membership fee for 2025-2026 season is expected to be $61.65. Annual Skate Canada Membership and Insurance is valid from September 1 to August 31. The yearly Skate Canada membership will be applied automatically to all skaters for Fall registration.

Also, the participants need to have an active CRCA (Chestermere Recreation Communication Association) membership. Annual CRCA membership, which is valid from July 1 to June 30, can be purchased online at https://www.chestermerecrca.com/history/membership-info/ . Individual membership is $64, while family memberships are $92.50 + GST and provide a unique membership number for each family member added to the family account. Current members - please update your CRCA Number for each participant with their unique CRCA number in your account. New members – you will be asked to provide your CRCA Number at the time of registration. CRCA membership benefits include access to free public skating and shinny hockey times, as well as discounts on recreation programs and room rentals.

If registering after the start of first skating class, please note that the cost of the program is pro-rated for the number of classes remaining in the session.
